Monday

It's not supposed to feel like Monday for us.  But today it did.  You know those days - everything you touch won't work.  Granted we're down to a couple of bugger projects.  The electrical problem that is keeping our instruments (speed, wind speed and direction and - the biggie -depth) still eludes us.  In fact the multi-meter we were using to test the electrical connections lost one of it's wires at the connection.  And the new one we bought won't even register a reading.  And then the refrigeration which was working just fine started acting up again.  Yeah, Monday.

But it was beautiful today!  Like 76 degrees!  Gorgeous!  It inspired us to barbecue burgers in the cockpit!  Simon was pleased since he got his own patty.
"Don't bother with the bun mom."
And with sun comes sun tea!  Then a nice slow stroll in the park.

I know you've all been sitting on the edge of your seat wondering about the Waterfront Festival.  Well...we never made it over there.  We weren't inspired by the reviews we heard, so we stuck to our own festival.  We drove to Burlington to go to a Fred Meyer so I could get my favorite hair products.  No, I haven't found them in Anacortes yet.  And we finally got around to trying the Happy Hour at The Brown.  Which has a very fun menu.  But, alas, no Waterfront Festival report.  We did have a couple of the show cars in our parking lot

Both days of the festival had car shows.  Saturday was an All Corvette show and Sunday was all kinds of classics.  The one bizarre thing we saw driving by the festival was a kid's attraction.  It was a large inflatable wading pool with big clear bubbles floating on it.  And inside each bubble was some freaked out kid.  Gotta admit that was a new one for me.

I'll try to find something more interesting for you tomorrow.  Let's just all hope that this week has only one Monday.
