Sleep tight Booner

We tucked Booner in for a long summer nap today.  This means folding him up, taking him to the dump station for a nice dump.  I'm sure that feels good for an RV.  We found a great spot for Booner and really like the proprietress, Andie.  It's nice to leave your home in hands you feel you can trust.  I didn't take a picture though.

Then we went into Burlington which is the town about 15 miles away that has all the big box stores.  We needed a visit to Bed, Bath and Beyond.  We were in search of a solution for our kitchen knives and our magnetic spice cans.  We scored on the knife project.  Check this out
It's a bamboo box that is lined with cork.  The end is a row of cork strips that the knife blades slide between.
Perfect.

We were overdue for a laundry day so after we got back from Box Town that was first on the agenda.  The laundromat is at the top of the ramp from our dock.  We really are in a perfect spot.  Our dock goes right up the ramp and the bathrooms/showers and laundromat is right there.  Here's the view from the laundromat
Not bad.
Yes, Trawler Fest is going on.  We haven't had a chance to check it out, but with mom's Heidi & Laura visiting this weekend I'm sure we will.  Here's a couple of shots from our table at Anthony's

Okay, you can't really get a feel for it, but I'll do better over the weekend.
We find we're pretty pooped tonight.  Neither Dave or I slept great last night.  Simon did.
Mostly we're just too tired and sore.  Know how that is?  You really need to sleep, but it just doesn't work so well.  We have high hopes for tonight.

So a short post tonight.  The rain is falling softly outside and we're cozy and comfy.
I wish the same for all of you.
