Just a quickie...

Normally I look for things throughout the day and take pictures with the intention of including them in my post that evening.  Today somehow I got through the whole day without doing that.  And that's largely because we're very focused on solving a few problems that will allow us to actually LEAVE OUR SLIP.  So you see, it's really in all of our best interests that I kept my head down and worked on problems today.  Because soon we'll be able to post something that's not related to a toilet or a Frankenhand.

However as I go throughout my days I see things that remind me of my friends.  Every time I walk up and down our dock for instance I pass this boat and it makes me think of our friends Jamie and Amy.

Jamie because she's a diver, and Amy because she would feel safe and comfy onboard.

I don't know if they are reading the blog, but enough of their friends are to get what I mean.

When you walk by this boat at night all of those little solar powered yard lanterns onboard are glowing.  

Pretty cool.

Anyways - I'm not feeling so wordy tonight.  But I'll make a special effort to capture an interesting piece of Anacortes for you for tomorrow.
